What you are ordering

A pre-order to find and connect one identified hive and colony in your selected country and area, with the first 12 months of care and digital access starting on activation. The location is a request until a suitable apiary is verified and agreed with you. No hive ownership or live monitoring is created by payment alone.

Prices and payments

Annual plan: AED 3,500 paid now covers all 12 months. Monthly plan: 12 payments of AED 375, total AED 4,500. Pay the first AED 375 now; it covers the first service month after activation. The remaining 11 payments fall monthly after activation. No further monthly payment is due during the search. Each later payment requires your confirmation through secure checkout; no automatic card debit mandate is created. These are the total plan prices charged by Bee Guardian. Honey packing and delivery are quoted and accepted separately. No automatic renewal is included.

Search deadline and unsuccessful search

We have 60 calendar days from the first confirmed payment to identify a suitable hive and agree its location with you. If no suitable hive is agreed within that period, you are entitled to a full refund of the pre-order payments. A different area or an extension requires your express agreement; neither happens automatically. If no suitable hive and location have been agreed within 60 calendar days of the first confirmed payment, we issue a full refund of the pre-order payments to the original payment method within 14 calendar days after that search deadline. Other cancellation requests, before or after activation, are reviewed and settled separately; no additional unconditional cancellation refund is promised by these terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Contact info@deserthorizon.ae or +971 50 299 0780 for cancellation or refund requests. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Ownership and service

Ownership passes after the full 12-month price is paid, a specific hive is connected and the transfer documents are completed. Annual payment therefore satisfies the payment requirement immediately; monthly customers satisfy it after all 12 payments. Until then, access to a hive account is service access, not proof of ownership. Bee Guardian monitoring equipment remains Bee Guardian property. Missed monthly payments do not complete ownership; contact the team to agree how the service and any cancellation will be handled. No additional penalty is imposed by this checkout. If a monthly payment is overdue, the customer has a grace period of 14 calendar days after its due date. During this period, the operator sends a payment reminder, no late-payment penalty is charged, and hive care and customer access continue. The grace period does not waive the outstanding payment or fulfil the full-payment requirement for ownership. If the payment remains overdue after the 14-calendar-day grace period, only customer viewing of hive cameras and sensor data is temporarily restricted. Hive care continues, and access to payment, documents and support remains available. Viewing is restored once the overdue balance is settled. This restriction does not stop equipment operation or beekeeper monitoring and does not itself terminate the agreement, transfer ownership or establish a final settlement. On the 30th calendar day after a monthly payment becomes overdue, the operator sends the customer a written warning of possible termination and allows a further 14 calendar days from that warning to settle the overdue balance. If the balance remains unpaid after that additional period, the operator may terminate the agreement; termination is not automatic. Hive care continues pending the termination decision. The treatment of previously paid amounts and the final settlement remain subject to separate agreement and applicable mandatory rights; this clause does not itself authorise forfeiture of those amounts or impose an additional penalty.

Harvest and records

The plan concerns the actual marketable harvest of the assigned hive after necessary bee food reserves. Yield, flowering and harvest dates vary; no fixed honey quantity, financial return or environmental recovery is guaranteed. Your selected area, plan, terms version, complete terms snapshot and acceptance time are saved with the order.

Colony loss and replacement

If a colony is lost because of a proven breach of the agreed care duties, the beekeeper bears the replacement costs. In other cases, the operator bears replacement costs from its reserve. Report incidents promptly and preserve care and sensor records; responsibility must be established from documented evidence. This allocation does not restrict mandatory customer rights. The operator will arrange replacement within 60 calendar days of receiving notice of the colony loss. Any extension, including for seasonal reasons, requires express agreement from the customer. If replacement is impossible within the agreed period, the operator refunds the unprovided care and separately settles compensation for the lost colony with the customer, without limiting mandatory rights. The beekeeper must cooperate with replacement and preserve relevant evidence; allocation of costs remains as stated above.

After the first year

From the second year, care and digital access cost AED 1,500 per hive for each further 12-month period, payable annually in advance only; no monthly renewal plan is offered. Honey packing and delivery remain separate. We send the renewal offer 30 days before the current care period ends. Renewal requires explicit agreement and payment; there is no automatic debit or renewal. If renewal is declined, we can arrange resale on instructions from the customer, without a guaranteed buyer, price or sale date. Ownership stays with the customer until a documented sale. Care while awaiting resale is charged separately at a tariff expressly agreed in advance; ownership is not forfeited automatically.
